Description:

This webinar aims to raise awareness around Food Loss and Waste (FLW) issues amongst national government officials from various ministries, United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) national conveners, and other stakeholders. The session will explore effective strategies and actions to accelerate progress towards reducing food loss and waste and achieving SDG 12.3: “By 2030, halve per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reduce food losses along production and supply chains, including post-harvest losses.”

The webinar will foster dialogue, strengthen collaboration between countries, and promote knowledge exchange to enhance food loss and waste reduction initiatives. Participants will gain valuable insights from countries that are on track to meet SDG 12.3, as well as those actively advancing towards this goal.
