As part of the One Planet Network MPTF Food Project, UNEP and WRAP are hosting a workshop on Sustainable Food City Partnerships. The workshop will explore how multistakeholder collaborations can help to reduce food waste and support the uptake of healthy, sustainable diets at city-level. It will showcase examples from front running cities and will have a special focus on how such approaches might be relevant in Rio de Janeiro.

We are keen to hear from you and how your organisation could play a part in designing a world-leading initiative to improve health and reduce food waste in Rio de Janeiro. Join us to find out about successful food city initiatives around the globe and their journeys. We will also want to hear what your priorities are, what are the barriers you face and who do you think needs to be involved.

The workshop will have two-way English-Portuguese interpretation for participants.

O PNUMA e o WRAP realizarão um workshop sobre Parcerias de Cidades Alimentares Sustentáveis e como as colaborações multissetoriais podem ajudar a reduzir o desperdício de alimentos e apoiar a adoção de dietas saudáveis e sustentáveis em nível de cidade. Este workshop mostrará exemplos de cidades pioneiras e terá um foco especial em como essas abordagens podem ser relevantes no Rio de Janeiro.

Gostaríamos de ouvir de você e saber como sua organização pode desempenhar um papel na criação de uma iniciativa líder mundial para melhorar a saúde e reduzir o desperdício de alimentos no Rio de Janeiro.

Estamos convidando você para um workshop de 2 horas, onde apresentaremos iniciativas bem-sucedidas de cidades gastronômicas de todo o mundo e compartilharemos suas jornadas. Também queremos saber quais são suas prioridades, quais são as barreiras que você enfrenta e quem você acha que precisa estar envolvido. O workshop terá duas vias de interpretação Inglês-Português para os participantes.
