City Academy launch at the UrbanShift Asia Forum

From 25 September 2023 onwards take the online UrbanShift City Academy courses free of charge.

Languages: Bahasa Indonesia, English, French, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish 

During the UrbanShift Asia Forum, we will officially launch the online UrbanShift City Academy courses.

The UrbanShift City Academy is an online learning platform designed to train urban practitioners and city officials worldwide to rethink existing urban systems and develop integrated processes that contribute to building climate-resilient, nature-positive cities. This learning tool is offered as part of the UrbanShift Global Platform. 

The City Academy offers eight self-contained courses, dedicated to key integrated planning themes. Each course's curricula was created by experts from one of the UrbanShift’s partner organizations:  

• Integrated Urban Planning (WRI)  

• Urban Biodiversity (WRI)  

• Nature-Based Solutions (WRI)  

• Circular Economy (ICLEI)  

• Climate Finance (ICLEI)  

• Green and Thriving Neighborhoods (UNEP)  

• Integrated Climate Action Planning (C40)  

• Accommodating Urban Growth (C40)  

The courses will be available free of charge, for self-paced study, on UrbanShift’s learning management system (LMS), powered by Edly.

**Note that full translations for Integrated Urban Planning, Nature-Based Solutions, and Urban Biodiversity will become available some time after the launch date.
