The eight special session of the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) will take place as below: • Expert session: 30 November 2020 (agenda attached) • Ministerial session: 4 December 2020 The session will be held virtually under the theme: ‘Enhancing environmental action for effective post-COVID recovery in Africa’. The Pre-AMCEN session for Major Groups and Stakeholders is expected to virtually take place on 26 November 2020.
