The Regional Consultative Meeting for North America was held virtually on November 21st, 2023, to allow for broad participation, with platform and facilitation done in collaboration with MIT Solve. The Regional Consultative Meeting included discussions on six specific topics with relevance to the North American context:
- Centering Indigenous peoples in restoring biodiversity
- Water for humans and ecosystems
- Critical minerals in decarbonization
- Climate adaptation & emergency measures
- Chronic & acute air pollution
- Fertilizers and phosphorous runoff
To attend the meeting, participants were requested to register by November 14th. This invitation was non-transferrable without permission, but anyone interested in the event was invited to express interest.
