This is an official side-event to the Middle East and North Africa Climate Week 2023. 

Description:

With more than 80% of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in the Arab States region prioritizing adaptation through climate resilient water resource management and climate agricultural practices, it is crucial to expedite the adoption of integrated solutions. This includes the exploration of synergies between the accelerated implementation of nature-based solutions to enhance resilience as outlined in the NDCs.

The primary objective of this side event is to facilitate a meaningful discussion around innovative, integrated approaches that contribute to climate adaptation efforts while also bringing multiple benefits across the SDGs. The event will also encourage exchange of lessons learned, best practices while galvanizing discussions on long-term support for nexus approaches.
