What: The event is organized with the support of the Basel Convention Coordinating Center, based in Uruguay, within the framework of the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Intergovernmental Network on Chemicals and Waste.
The session will be held with simultaneous interpretation of English and Spanish.
The intention is to provide general concepts on Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the environment, and some preliminary information about the situation in the LAC region, based on the regional assessment that is underway. Also, to encourage environmental authorities to engage in the WAAW. We are sharing this information also with the other entities of the Quadripartite+ in LAC.
