What: Co-organized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations, and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), the commemoration of the International Day of Clean Air for blue skies 2022 at the United Nations Headquarters is convened to share experiences on ambitious action and solutions being implemented to address air pollution. It is an opportunity to share lessons learnt, solutions and raise awareness on air pollution, demonstrate multiple benefits of improving air quality; discuss how different stakeholders are contributing to mitigate air pollution; and raise awareness and facilitate actions to improve air quality at local, national, regional and global levels.
