Description: The LAC region is a good example of adaptive responses to shocks and crises. Countries like Guatemala, Peru, and Guyana have updated their National Pathways documents using them as a tool to analyse and align public policies, related to food security, social protection, and school feeding, to facilitate food systems transformation
Policymakers and government entities will be presented examples of the use of National Pathways as a tool to develop and align public policies related to food systems. Additionally, this Side Event will showcase the pivotal role of UN agencies and allies and the current ecosystem at the regional level.
