World Environment Day 2023 focuses on regional and international policies, technologies and innovations that provide real and lasting solutions to this global problem – especially those that promote a just transition to a plastic circular economy.

This event, held by the UNEP New York Office, will commemorate World Environment Day 2023. It will highlight the importance of working together to take collective, transformative action on a global scale to beat plastic pollution and Member States’ policies and solutions in their respective countries.
