The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in collaboration with the East African Communications Organization (EACO) and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) invite you to an online dialogue on e-waste regulation in the East African Region. The dialogue will focus on identifying key elements for an “ideal” e-waste regulatory framework for countries in the region. Date: 12 October 2023

During the dialogue, ITU and EACO will launch a new baseline study on harmonizing e-waste data collection in East Africa. Participants will provide their expert perspectives on the main elements that should be included in a model e-waste regulatory framework.
