This webinar will provide an overview of the process of the Ad Hoc Open-Ended Working Group on the Science-Policy Panel to contribute further to the sound management of chemicals and waste and to prevent pollution (OEWG).
Featured speakers will address the origins of the initiative, key milestones to date and a brief record of the ongoing negotiations towards the establishment of the panel, with the aim of informing Member States, non-governmental stakeholders, and other interested parties as they prepare for the third session of the OEWG, to be held in Geneva on June 17-21, 2024.
