Organized by the Energy Commission of the African Union in collaboration with UNEP's International Methane Emissions Observatory (IMEO) and Carbon Limits, this online webinar is part of a series focused on methane capacity building for member states of the African Union.  

During the webinar, modules from the IMEO Methane Training Series will be delivered to government officials and company stakeholders in the oil and gas sector. 

The webinar will include an overview module on methane emission sources, detection, and mitigation options. Additionally, there will be a presentation on the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0 (OGMP 2.0), the only comprehensive, measurement-based international reporting framework for the sector.
