This is a 3-days closed doors workshop, taking place during the Africa Climate Week 2023.

The CTCN’s annual Regional Forum for National Designated Entities (NDEs) is back, and this year, it’s bringing a new perspective. Built on CTCN’s mission, the Forum’s discussions and activities will be aligned with the five strategic system transformation areas of the current Programme of Work (PoW):

  • Water-Food-Energy Nexus
  • Building and Infrastructure
  • Sustainable Mobility
  • Energy Systems
  • Business and Industry

Among the main goals of the Forum are the engagement and empowerment of NDEs and other stakeholders to drive climate action across countries, communities, and economies. Throughout the three days, over 50 participants will discuss:

2023 in Review, 2024 in Prospect: Stay in the loop with a comprehensive update on CTCN's activities and a preview of upcoming plans.

Shaping Transformation: Delve into dynamic discussions on past and potential technical assistance projects within each transformation area, focusing on the African region.

Global Partnerships for Change: Explore pathways for South-South and North-South collaborative research, development, and investment.

Learn more and become a part of this transformative journey, as we pave the way for a sustainable tomorrow.

The working languages of the event are English and French.
