Global Funds for Coral Reefs/Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (GCRMN) Workshop- ACP MEAs 3 Programme

The workshop serves as a critical platform for advancing coral reef conservation and sustainable management in the region. 

Specifically, it focuses on 

1. MERMAID training for GFCR M&E focal points, for reporting on GFCR M&E indicators
2. Development of a regional chapter for the Western Indian Ocean for the GCRMN 2025 report on the status of the world's coral reefs
3. Support to the work of the regional coral reef technical working group
4. Learning opportunities for identifying and investing in reef positive businesses in the region
