Modelling and Scenario Workshop for the Seventh Edition of UNEP’s Global Environment Outlook (GEO-7)

For the outlook in GEO-7 should be able to provide modelling and scenarios analysis of the socio-economic impacts (possibly both positive and negative) of different solutions pathways thus an initial workshop to agree on a methodology for the modelling and scenarios work. This workshop will run in parallel to the Solutions Pathways Workshop.

Meeting objectives:

1. Develop a shared understanding of the objectives of the modelling and      scenarios work
2. Agree on a methodology for the modelling and scenarios work
3. Discussion the roles and responsibilities of the different teams/authors in the modelling and scenarios work
4. Develop a costed work plan for the modelling and scenarios work
5. Establish a collaboration approach with the solutions pathways group
6. Discuss potential gaps in expertise to be filled and additional experts to be invited
