The Global Environment Outlook (GEO) is UNEP’s most ambitious scientific assessment of the state, trends of the global environment, and outlooks for the future. The seventh edition of GEO will focus on solutions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution and waste crises, and land degradation. It will identify transformation pathways for the food and energy systems, circularity and current economic models. Led by Co-chairs Prof. Nyovani Madise and Sir Robert Watson, GEO-7 will be the most digital and innovative so far.
