On October 12th, 2016 the Head of UN Environment Erik Solheim, visited the Agashya gorilla group at Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Once down to just 250 individuals in 1981, mountain gorillas have bounced back to an estimated 880 gorillas in the wild. They live in three.
