Biography

Brenna Dyke is the Principal Advisor to the Director of the Early Warning and Assessment Division.

Ms. Van Dyke has 33 years of experience in international environmental law, diplomacy, and policy. She has led work on the trade and environment nexus, environmental grantmaking and institution building, environmental policy and diplomacy.

She has held many roles, including Regional Director for the UNEP North America Office, Secretary of the Governing Body and Senior Advisor to the CEO, Global Environment Facility; Head of Resource Mobilization and Global Funds and Deputy Director, Office for Operations at UNEP, among others

Ms. Van Dyke has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a juris doctorate from Yale University School of Law.
