Ran Xie joined the Pollution and Health Unit in June 2018. She currently participates in the reporting and monitoring of the UNEA3 voluntary commitments and the preparation of the report on pesticides and fertilizers requested by UNEA3 resolutions.
She obtained her master degree in international relations and environmental policy from Peking University and Sciences Po. Before joining UN Environment, she worked for China-ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Center, an institute affiliated with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China.
