The global status of legally binding controls on lead paint is regularly monitored and updated in the WHO Global Health Observatory. An annual report on the Global Status of Lead Paint Laws is one of the activities of the Global Alliance to Eliminate Lead Paint (Lead Paint Alliance).
The 2022 Global Status Report describes the status of lead paint laws in countries as of March 2023, as well as activities undertaken by countries where lead paint laws are in the process of being established.
