Equatorial Guinea had a population of 790,000 people in 2013 (IEA, 2016). Total electricity production in 2015 was 82 ktoe with 57.3 per cent
generated from hydro and 41.4 per cent generated from fossil fuels (IEA, 2016). Electricity consumption in 2015 was 36 ktoe. Table 2 shows the main
