Eye on Earth: UAE, UNEP sign Summit Declaration to be submitted to 2012 Earth Summit in Rio

The Eye on Earth Summit Declaration, a key outcome of the Summit, which will provide input to the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD) to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in June 2012, was today signed by the UAE Ministry of Environment and Water, Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) after endorsement from the public and representatives of government, business, and civil society.
