This Guidebook emphasizes the role of energy efficient lighting and its potential for rapidly reducing carbon emissions and delivering economic and environmental benefits through Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs). It has been designed to assist governments, international agencies and other stakeholders shape national efficient lighting strategies into NAMAs. The Guidebook encompasses the entire process from developing a basic checklist to forming a national efficient lighting strategy.
