The Guidelines provide relevant information to those who are involved in developing waste management legislation, and assist them in considering appropriate legal and administrative measures which might be suitable to their national circumstances. The Guidelines are also a tool of evolving nature and may be reviewed and updated from time to time, based on the experiences of its use.
