This National Solid Waste Management Strategy (NSWMS) is a vital document that proposes integrated approaches to addressing the problem of poor solid waste management, which has had over the years far reaching effects on both human health and also the environment. It is important to note that this strategy will focus on solid waste management but it will however include such wastes as used oils and sewer sludge which may not necessarily be solid.
