This report presents the findings of the survey on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in air coordinated by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This survey is part of the Global Environment Facility-funded UNEP POPs Global Monitoring Plan project in the Africa, Asia, The Pacific Islands and Group of Latin America and the Caribbean (GRULAC) regions. Passive air sampling was done in 42 countries from 2017 2019. Active air sampling took place in selected countries (Mongolia, Mauritius, Brazil, Kenya, Ghana) in collaboration with partner monitoring networks.
