The impetus for writing this book was to advance our understanding of the atmospheric science and help to elucidate the fundamentals of teaching and learning about climate change. The intent was to provide a basic understanding of the subject matter so that teachers could meaningfully understand and teach climate change. The book contains wealth of information on basics principles of climate change. It provides background information on Earth’s climate system, global warming, the scientific principles that govern climate, climate variability and climate change, adaptation and mitigation. Also covered are national policies of relevance to climate change in Lesotho.
