Evolution of the TEEB logo

In existence from 2010-2019, the original TEEB logo (at left) was designed to visually represent (through four colors) our four target decision-making stakeholders – national and international policymakers (light blue), local and regional policymakers (red), business (yellow), and research/academia (navy blue) – as well as our focus on biodiversity, ecosystem services and livelihoods (through the four images).

Several TEEB-inspired initiatives customized the logo in myriad ways, for example to display more appropriate images to represent the biodiversity and ecosystems within the country or area of focus. Similarly, new photos were selected to constitute a separate logo for TEEBAgriFood (at center).

In 2020, on the occasion of TEEB’s 10-year anniversary, a redesign of the logo was rolled out (at right) in order to offer a more streamlined, refined, recognizable and professional appearance for print and online publications.
