This case study analyses the impacts and dependencies along the rice value chain in Senegal. Information was collected about the current status of as many of the stocks and outcomes in the TEEBAgriFood Evaluation Framework and local stakeholders reflected on the predominant issues for each of the aspects considered. From their articulation of prevailing issues, possibly policy interventions have been formulated, and the outcomes of such interventions were evaluated against “business as usual” (BAU) using a systems dynamics-based model (T21-iSDG).
