EANET's main activities focus on the monitoring and control of data, capacity building and awareness-raising.
Monitoring, evaluation and quality control:
Acid deposition monitoring
- Review and revision/establishment of the national monitoring plans.
- Implementation of monitoring of wet deposition, dry deposition, soil/vegetation, inland aquatic environment
Compilation, evaluation, storage and provision of data
- Submission of monitoring data to the Network Center
- Publication of annual data reports
- Preparation and publication of periodic reports on the state of acid deposition
- Dissemination of relevant information through EANET website
Promotion of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities
- Development of QA/QC programs
- Development of Standard Operational Procedures
- Implementation of Inter-laboratory comparison projects
Technical support, research and capacity building:
Implementation of technical support and capacity building activities
- Dispatch of technical missions
- Identification of training needs
- Individual training at the Network Center

- Utilization of existing training programs
- Implementation of cooperation programs and dispatch of experts.
Promotion of research and studies related to acid deposition problems

Awareness raising:
