MEA side events
A three-day programme of Multilateral Environmental Agreement side events was held from 28 February to 1 March 2024. This complemented the supplementary agenda item titled Cooperation with Multilateral Environmental Agreements, also known as MEA Day, which was held on 28 February. These elements of the programme and events were led by the MEAs and were open to all UNEA-6 participants.

MEA exhibitions
MEA exhibitions were organized throughout UNEA-6 to showcase cooperation between UNEP and MEAs, other UN entities and MEAs, as well as among MEAs on cross-cutting topics of interest that are relevant to the theme of UNEA-6.
All UNEA participants were invited to visit the MEA Exhibition, which will provide space for networking and knowledge sharing.
