Capitals Coalition, UNEP TEEB, AMEBIN and Reforestamos are organizing an in-person event at the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) in Mexico City on 15th March 2023.
The in-person meeting will strengthen the relationships between organizations and individuals enabling beneficial cross-learning. It will be a catalyst moment to accelerate the transition toward a nature-positive, climate-friendly and equitable food value chain. The event will be an opportunity to:
• learn from the Mexican Food System Transformation business cases;
• be inspired by best business practices;
• learn how to comply with future legislation, disclosure and nature-related targets;
• exchange with a wide range of stakeholders, from business peers to public sector representatives;
• strengthen international and local networks;
The event will be held in both Spanish and English.
About TEEBAgriFood for Business:
Since 2020, the TEEBAgriFood for Business project has been working in seven countries to mainstream best practices, build resilience and contribute to a more sustainable agrifood sector. In Brazil, the Capitals Coalition, UNEP TEEB and CEBDS have been organizing roundtable consultations, training sessions and supporting businesses in transforming their practices by assessing their impacts and dependencies on nature and people.
