This event will generate an informed dialogue on the challenges of climate transparency extended to market-based instruments and the cooperative approaches referred to in Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, in the context of developing countries.

The session, which will gather climate experts and country representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean, aims at promoting greater engagement of Parties in the development of their instruments and regulations to comply with the Paris Agreement and ensure collaborative work. 

The participants will address lessons learned in the process of designing market-based instruments and applying cooperative approaches as compliance tools, and will showcase supporting initiatives in the region, such as the ones leaded by EUROCLIMA+ and other cooperation agencies.
