Building Resilience to Disasters in the Caribbean

A webinar focused on building resilience in Caribbean countries through disaster resilience and recovery efforts is organized by the UN Environment Programme Caribbean Sub-Regional Office.

In the midst of the annual Caribbean hurricane season and the current global health and climate crisis, the webinar Building Resilience to Disasters will count with the participation of two experts, who will share their experience addressing natural disasters and other emergencies in the region:

• Dan Stothart, regional coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean, Resilience to Disasters and Conflicts suprogramme, UNEP.
• Roberto San Martin, consultant with the International Maritime Organization, Regional Marine Pollution Emergency, Information and Training Centre, UNEP Regional Activity Centre for Oil-Spills.
