Text of the Framework
The Global Framework on Chemicals – For a Planet Free of Harm from Chemicals and Waste was adopted by the Conference with resolution V/1 as a new voluntary global framework in the field of international chemicals and waste management. Read more
Resolutions
The Conference adopted 12 resolutions at ICCM5. With resolution V/1, the Conference welcomed and adopted the Bonn Declaration for a Planet Free of Harm from Chemicals as an integral part of the Framework. Read the resolutions and the Bonn Declaration.
History
The Global Framework on Chemicals builds on a long and successful history of chemicals management. The framework instrument replaces the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM).
