The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) International Environmental Technology Centre (IETC) has taken several measures in light of the COVID-19 outbreak to mitigate the impact of the pandemic on UNEP IETC personnel, their families, our visitors, and our neighbors. While the current public health emergency has disrupted normal working arrangements, the delivery of work continues.
Remote working arrangements
All UNEP IETC staff have been on mandatory home-based alternate working arrangements since March 18th. This arrangement will continue indefinitely subject to weekly review and update every Friday. Staff members may be reached via their individual e-mail addresses. For general enquiries, please write to ietc@un.org and our team will respond at the earliest opportunity.
Events, meetings and personnel notes
All IETC sponsored events and meetings have been either reorganized as teleconferences, cancelled or postponed until further notice. All new staff recruitment, including of interns, is on hold until further notice.
