Two workshops and a mini-lecture took place at Tennoji Zoo's Daishin Waku Waku Hall.
During the Zero Waste Game, participants engaged in contemplating recycling strategies through a board game, encouraging them to reflect on methods to minimize the waste generated in their day-to-day activities. The second workshop, titled "Upcycled Craft," allowed participants to revel in the creation of artworks using waste materials such as frames, fallen leaves, and nuts.
The three mini-lectures delved into the relationship between animals and waste. Attendees gained insights into the impact of human waste on animals and learned the significance of waste reduction in their daily routines.
