Junko Fujioka joined UNEP IETC in 2014, and has been supporting various projects and legal instruments. She is also the focal point for gender at UNEP IETC, working on mainstreaming gender in waste management. Prior to this, she worked for Japan International Cooperation Agency, developing various projects on education, agriculture and private sector engagement. Junko holds an MPhil in Development Studies (focus on gender).
