Aidan Gallagher is an actor and musician well known from his Netflix series role in The Umbrella Academy. Early youth climate advocacy work with Los Angeles Waterkeeper, WildAid, and the Oceanic Preservation Society led to a 2018 historic moment for Aidan as the youngest Goodwill Ambassador ever designated within the UN System. Since then, Aidan has been seen as the face of numerous UN climate initiatives, including speaking at events and panels, while actively sharing environmental messaging via his large social media following. High-level engagements include hosting the 2018 London Illegal Wildlife Trade Conference by invitation of the UK Government and the then Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, and a 2023 speech centered on climate advocacy at the One Young World Conference. Notable environmental interviews with Aidan have included appearances on CNN, New Scientist and Bloomberg News. In 2021 Aidan established his Trees with Aidan initiative alongside Envision Racing’s Race Against Climate Change, with a joint goal to inspire one million climate action pledges for which Envision will plant one million trees.
