Sabrina Wanjiku Simader is a young Kenyan-Austrian ski racer and first female Alpine skier in history to represent Kenya at the Winter Olympics at the Ski World Cup. Sabrina, born on 13 April 1998 in Kilifi, Kenya, started skiing at the age of 3 in the snowy Alps of Austria. Her African roots and her new homeland, represent a unique combination in international winter sport. Sabrina takes part in many World Championships and World Cups, and of course, she competed for the Kenyan Ski Team at the Winter Olympic Games in South Korea 2018. On top, Sabrina won the price of the "African European Sports Woman of the year" in 2017 and 2019 she was pictured in the African Forbes “30 under 30”.
Sabrina is connected to the snow leopard since a long time, actually the animal is part of her team logo.
