Through the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency, UNEP provides expertise on the technical and business aspects of developing and investing in energy efficiency projects.
The Centre has developed a “project bundling” approach, where municipalities, as well as other interested parties, can bundle projects from different locations with similar contexts to scale up energy efficiency project implementation.
In Argentina, this approach has been used for municipal investments in LED street lighting as well as tenders for solar PV and electric vehicles.
