New Video by Osaka City : Inger Andersen's Message on Marine Plastic Pollution

A new video on marine plastic pollution by Osaka City is now available on their Youtube Channel. 

Osaka, a host city of the G20 summit held in June 2019, created a video that explains the current issue of marine plastic litter. It also introduces Japanese technologies and products that are contributing to pollution reduction for the sustainable future.

Inger Andersen, an executive director of UNEP, appears in the video and comments 

"Plastic pollution is one of the most visible signs of our unsustainable production and consumption. It is a global crisis that is threatening the environment, threatening human health, and threatening our economies across the world. This global crisis requires an urgent global response."
