IETC's Work on Plastic Pollution
IETC lead the initiatives on plastic waste management in various countries to respond to the emerging global plastic pollution crisis that has been escalating over recent decades. This complex situation is driven by a range of factors, and implementing plastic waste management according to best environmental practices is recognized as one of the most important measures to promote a circular economy. This includes preventing the leakage of plastic waste into the environment and enhancing recycling.
