Countries have promised to restore more than 1 billion hectares of degraded land – an area larger than China. Now is the time to turn commitments into action. The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration has launched a call to nominate World Restoration Flagships. Governments and their partners have until 31 March 2022 to apply.
