Sixth Meeting:
The sixth meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held virtually from 26-27 June 2024. The working group discussed the development of national action plans on sustainable nitrogen management, lessons learned from international policy, revised the TOR of the Working Group, and developed a Roadmap on how to reduce nitrogen pollution by 2030.

Fifth Meeting:
The fifth meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held on 9-10 January 2024, followed by a half-day informal meeting on 10 January in Nairobi, Kenya and online.
Fourth Meeting:
The fourth meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held in Nairobi, Kenya and online on 28 September 2023 followed by an informal expert meeting on 29 September.
Third Meeting:
The third meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held in Bucharest, Romania on 27 April 2023 followed by an informal expert meeting on 28 April 2023.
Second Meeting:
The second meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held online on 17 January 2023.
First Meeting:
The first meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held online on 8 to 9 June 2020.
UNEP invited Member States to nominate focal points for a Working Group on implementation of the UNEA4 resolution, following the adoption of the Resolution on Sustainable Nitrogen Management.
