First Meeting:
The first meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held online on 8 to 9 June 2020.
UNEP invited Member States to nominate focal points for a Working Group on implementation of the UNEA4 resolution, following the adoption of the Resolution on Sustainable Nitrogen Management.
Second Meeting:
The second meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held online on 17 January 2023.
Third Meeting:
The third meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held in Bucharest, Romania on 27 April 2023 followed by an informal expert meeting on 28 April 2023.
Fourth Meeting:
The fourth meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was held in Nairobi, Kenya and online on 28 September 2023 followed by an informal expert meeting on 29 September.
Fifth Meeting:
The fifth meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen is scheduled to take place on 9-10 January 2024, followed by a half-day informal meeting on 10 January in Nairobi, Kenya and online.
