The Special Programme is supported by the generous contributions from the Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, European Union, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
In accordance with the terms of reference, contributions to the Special Programme are encouraged from all signatories and parties to the conventions and other Governments with the capacity to do so, as well as from the private sector, including industry, foundations, other non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders.
