This meeting is organised by the UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme in cooperation with the Pacific Island Countries' Network. It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction's Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part of its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.
The Network Meeting will be held from 8-9 May and 13 May 2023.
The meeting continues the series of ECA meetings for Montreal Protocol Officers and representatives of national RAC associations/sectors to enhance the cooperation between these key stakeholder groups and strengthen the RAC associations to support the HFC phase-down under the Kigali Amendment. There will be joint sessions with Montreal Protocol Officers and RAC Experts, and the latter will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in CO2 and ammonia technologies.
This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). Simultaneous English – Russian interpretation will be provided.
